We check the airline, route, fare, dates, bag size and weight before showing a price. If those details do not match a published rule, we ask you to check with the airline.

Details

The directory has 92 brands, with detailed policy notes for 50. The calculator shows a standard-bag amount only for certain American and Southwest trips. Other prices need the airline’s booking flow. Worked examples explain a rule; they are not traveler receipts.

Which sources we trust

We start with airline and government policy pages. A search excerpt can point us to a rule, but it may omit the exception that matters for your ticket. A page that will not show its fee table cannot support a dollar amount here. Traveler accounts are labeled as reports, not turned into airline rules.

Why some prices are missing

The calculator shows a fee only for certain standard first and second bags on American and Southwest when your route, fare, date, and benefits match. If a bag is heavy, large, an extra piece, or outside those conditions, the full cost stays unknown until the airline quotes your trip.
