Carry-On Size Checker by Airline

Measure a packed cabin bag against the airline’s published three-sided box. Your fare and available overhead space still matter.

A bag can look like a carry-on and still be too deep for the airline’s box. Measure it after packing, then check whether your fare includes it.

Before you start

These tools help you plan. They don’t take payment or decide whether an airline will accept a bag. When a price or limit is missing, check it with the airline.

After you get a result

Compare it with your ticket, the airline flying each leg, and the final price in its booking flow. If you’re flying round trip, check both directions.

What this tool can tell you

A carry-on goes in the cabin; a personal item usually fits under the seat. Check all three sides of your packed bag against the airline’s carry-on box. A fitting bag can still be excluded by your fare or checked at a crowded gate.

Try an example

A 22 × 14 × 9 inch bag fits the published American, Delta, and JetBlue boxes. But you still need to check the fare and whether a small aircraft has room for it.

Open the airline link in your result before you pay. You don’t need to enter a booking number, passport, or payment details here.
